Product description
Italian Cow Suede is a split European cowhide, made in Italy and chrome tanned with a full aniline dye process — the technique that gives leather its most natural, unfiltered depth of colour. The dye penetrates fully through the hide rather than sitting on the surface, producing rich, nuanced tones that shift subtly with the light.
Each hide is supple and dense, finished with a soft, silky nap and a clean, consistent look across the piece. As a split leather, it offers a more accessible entry point into genuine Italian suede while still delivering a refined hand feel suited to serious craft and production work alike.
Well suited to apparel, upholstery, handbags, and accessories where a soft, tactile suede with real colour depth is called for.
Sold as individual pieces, averaging 9–10 sq ft (1 square metre) per hide — please note the quantity selector counts pieces, not total square footage.
