Ermine, also known as the Long Tail Weasel, is a select quality pelt harvested from Northern Canada — commercial garment tanned and soft-cased, averaging 13–14 inches nose to butt, or 16–17 inches including the tail.
Natural winter white (off-white) with distinctive black and brown-tipped tails, ermine has long carried a premium reputation, historically dubbed "The Fur of Kings" for its ceremonial and royal associations. It remains a striking material for decoration and craft projects today.
